Puyallup Assembly Hall

Hello Everyone!

We haven't kept up with the blog and we are sorry.  We have been settling in and getting to know our congregation and the area.  We will try to catch you up on what has been happening in the past months.
We miss you all!

First off:
Puyallup Assembly Hall

Shortly after moving in to our new home, we went to our assigned Special Assembly day in a city named Puyallup (rhymes with gallop).  It's about 45 minutes away from where we live (North Bend).
Unlike Denton's assembly hall that can be seen from a mile away, Puyallup's assembly hall is hidden between tall forest trees.  It's a little smaller then Denton's but was remodeled about 5 years ago.
A married couple from our congregation was baptized.  And it was odd to be at an assembly and not know anyone.  But soon we began to meet new friends.
After the assembly we went to eat at Famous Daves BBQ.  It was awesome! They have different BBQ sauces to sample and mix.  (It reminded us of home.)
On our way home, it began to rain/ice as we had to go over a mountain!  It was odd because the weather was fairly warm during the day and it caught us by surprise.  It was very scary.
